The Manifestation of God’s Plan

“…You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles…” – Isaiah 49:6 (NLT)

For centuries, it was prophesied that Jesus, the Messiah, would be the Saviour of the World. The Book of Isaiah 49:6-7 speaks to this prophecy, and in one weekend, there was a climatic event that took us from curse to blessing. It changed the world.

Jesus’s death was the centerpiece of God’s master plan to restore fallen humanity unto Himself. God, in His wisdom and omniscience, knew that man would fall even before it happened, so He put a plan in place to redeem us unto Himself before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4-5 (NLT) tells us, “Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.”

1 Peter 1:20 (NLT) also says, “God chose Him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days He has been revealed for your sake.”

God’s grand plan is the ultimate expression of His love for each one of us and His desire for us to dwell in His presence continually. Before He created this earth, He thought of you and me. He didn’t want us to live in this unpredictable and sometimes chaotic world on our own. He wanted to be there to help each and every one of us. So He sent His son to die so that we could have salvation.

We are all part of God’s plan, whether we know it or not. Therefore, I urge you all to accept the free gift of salvation that has been bestowed upon us. Come into a right relationship with God and allow Him to reveal the part that He will have you play in His master plan.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for sending Your son Jesus to die for us and for the free gift of salvation. We welcome You to dwell in our hearts continually and help us fulfil our purpose in You. In Jesus’s name. Amen!
